I have been dealing with this issue for a while and most people seem to be applying the enterprise templates but not using Google update templates to delay the updates. Also why supply admx and adml files for use with Active Directory services? I don't think Google has provided adequate information in the set up of this any way its pretty basic instructions.

I did actually reference that sentence at the start when I raised the question: "Applies to Windows users who sign in to a managed account on Chrome Browser." I was actually wondering about this because it was not very bold and seemed to imply managed accounts generally. Despite this the browser does not delay the updates.

They are being deployed to the system because I ran rsop.msc on the endpoint I am testing on and it shows the policy applied. I did install the Chrome Browser that came in the MSI bundle on the endpoint. I am using Active Directory services with group policy management and the templates show in the group policy management console so they are available to access. I also placed the ADML language files in the correct place because the template would not show up if I did not in the group policy console and I would get a warning message. In response I have placed the ADMX files in PolicyDefinition as per the Googles documentation as I double checked this as this is where they usually reside anyway. Sorry for the slow response guys been offline. It's specified right on the documentation. Wrong, these settings have no effect unless your users have managed accounts. These are the files you can put on your local or Azure AD PolicyDefinitions area and can manage and create GPOs from your favorite Microsoft AD/Azure GUI or PowerShell if you fancy. If you scroll down past the Google Admin area you see Manage Chrome Browser and you'll see Chrome ADM/ADMX Templates. We are doing it here with just our AD and are able to update/block as necessary.
